Installation guide

1. Check your environment

Check if Revit and Dynamo of a proper version are installed on your computer:

• Autodesk Revit 2020/21 (for a stable work of package an English localization for Revit is recommended, see https://knowledge.autodesk.com)
• Dynamo Revit/Core >= 2.1 (see Help → About)

2. Download and install package

Current version of the SpatialAnalysisDynamo package is not published in the Dynamo Package Manager, therefore the package needs to be downloaded as a zip archive and then manually unzipped in a specific folder:

• Download package files
• Unblock the zip archive (in the properties of the zip archive uncheck the corresponding checkbox if it is blocked. If there is no checkbox then skip this step)

• Unzip the files into the folder:

  C:\Users\<You>\AppData\Roaming\Dynamo\Dynamo Revit\<Dynamo Version>\packages\Spatial Analysis Dynamo

3. Check installation

If everything went well, then the SpatialAnalysisDynamo package will appear in the Add-ons section in the left panel of the Dynamo window and in the Package Manager as well:

• Run Revit with administrator rights
• Open Dynamo
• Open Packages → Manage Packages to see which packages are installed in Dynamo. You should see the SpatialAnlysisDynamo package in the list as well as in the left panel
